Roma Make Official Loan Request for Chelsea’s Jamie Gittens
According to journalist Alfredo Pedullà, Roma have made an official request to Chelsea over a possible loan move for Jamie Gittens. While Chelsea have not yet agreed to sanction the loan, talks between the two clubs remain ongoing, with further discussions expected in the coming days.
Gittens, 22, is an English left winger currently on the books at Chelsea, with his market value estimated at around €30 million. He is under contract with the Blues until June 30, 2032.
Roma’s pursuit of the winger appears to be a strategic effort to bolster their attacking options, with Gittens having shown considerable promise in the Premier League since his move to west London. Whether the deal progresses further will largely depend on Chelsea’s willingness to sanction a loan.
